Community gatherings, cultural events and reasonings rooted in connection, culture and collective care.
Community is at the heart of Groundation. We believe there is power in having spaces where we can gather, reason, connect and respond to what is happening around us — whether that means making room for healing and reflection, engaging with our histories and cultures, or coming together around issues affecting our communities.
We create and facilitate community gatherings, cultural events, talks, reasonings, circles and responsive spaces, often working alongside community leaders, practitioners, artists and cultural knowledge holders.
This includes Groundation Groundings, our responsive gathering series creating room for collective reflection, connection, care and action around the present moment. Our wider work has also included spaces for grief and remembrance, conversations around history and culture, community wellbeing gatherings and events developed in response to what our communities are experiencing.
Our gatherings can take place in community centres, cultural spaces, universities, festivals and other settings, and can be developed independently or in collaboration with communities and organisations.
