@ Union St, Sheffield or via Zoom

An interactive gathering exploring Maroon history, spirituality, cultural survival and resistance, led live from Jamaica by Myal priest and Maroon cultural activist Alex Moore-Minott. Join us in person or online to listen, learn and ask questions together. We'll explore Maroon history and traditions, the ongoing impacts of colonial systems on Maroon communities today, and how we can stand in solidarity and support their continued resistance.

Open to all, with a particular invitation to those from Caribbean diasporic communities wanting to connect with and learn more about their histories.
